It's not often a news story or report makes me go 'wow', but this feature on an island called St. Helena, a remote British island that is "stuck in time" was quite startling. It's a surreal read check it out:

The part in the video where they ask the class who wants to leave the island and almost everyone can't seem to wait to escape it, but then at the end when the girl says that she would definitely want to go back ("It's the best place to retire,") was especially relevant to me, as it's essentially the attitude that almost every teenager in Luxembourg seems to hold.
