CfJ World Cup Sweepstake

AS MOST of you know, a Centre for Journalism sweepstake is now up and running.

The list to sign is now up on the wall in the newsroom and you have until 10am on Monday, May 24 to have signed up. It is plausible that more than 32 will want to enter, so to guarantee getting involved, sign up before it fills to capacity. Rules are on the Facebook group that has been created, and also appear on the entry form.

However, just to sum up – entry is £2, and all £64 of the prize pot will go to the winner. Runners-up don’t get a penny, at least, not from this sweepstake. You must pay the £2 to Dean BEFORE the draw, which will take place on Wednesday, May 26. The draw will take place just before/after conference, and if you are not there you will be left till last and have your selected team chosen by somebody else.

The staff of CfJ are more than welcome to participate, but there are only 32 spaces to fill. Once they are gone, they are gone. Please note the draw will take place in order of when people entered, so if you want a bigger choice, then get your name down first.

I think that’s enough rules for now. Any questions, ask Dean. I guess I should wish you good luck as well; Good Luck!
