Neil Arun didn’t want to miss a rare but risky opportunity to embed with an Iraqi police unit, hunting members of al Qaeda. But his employers -- responsible for Neil’s security -- weren’t happy. This film by Richard Pendry nvestigates how a frontline journalist balances risk and reward.
First of all a big thanks to Tim and Anastasia for the fantastic meal last night. It really gave us all a chance to get to know each other a little better and a chance to enjoy some alcohol we didn't have to pay for!!!
Using my fantastic vuvox skills, taught to me by Ian last year (you first years will no doubt get the vuvox lecture in due course!) I have put together a rough slide of all the photos from last night. You can view it here:
Hope you all had a great evening and are looking forward to starting your first year with us bright and early on Monday morning!!
x
(Oh and if there are any pictures you don't like unfortunately I can't be bothered to edit the slide so just grin and bear it....we are all friends here!)

Lovely pictures, Beckah.
Here's the one picture I took (and ran in 5 inch heels to catch).
I know... It's another sunset.
I like how I am the only one who was oblivious to the second to last photo being taken.
To be fair I was calling at you to turn around and look but you had a sudden spell of deafness...must be your old age! Haha x
I hate you.
