Neil Arun didn’t want to miss a rare but risky opportunity to embed with an Iraqi police unit, hunting members of al Qaeda. But his employers -- responsible for Neil’s security -- weren’t happy. This film by Richard Pendry nvestigates how a frontline journalist balances risk and reward.
As promised, I've set up a development version of this web site so that students (and staff if they feel the urge) can have a play with Drupal and try out any ideas they might have for improving the main Centre for Journalism site.
The development site is at ianreevesmedia.co.uk/cfjtest. At the moment it's a basic configuration, which means there's no content on it and it doesn't have all the functionality of the main site yet. Any students interested will be given full administration access, which means they can experiment with what the site does, as well as with its design and style.
You'll need email me first so that I can set you up with the necessary logins. And I'll also send you some pointers of how to get started and where to look for tutorials and other information.
