Writing opportunities for students and graduates: the Fresh Outlook.

Contact us for writing opportunities with the new independent online newspaper, the Fresh Outlook. For your information, we also offer placements - remote and in the office (Cardiff office).The newspaper will launch by the end of this June.

Background
This newspaper will be the breaking ground for all new journalists, providing that much needed work experience. The second purpose is to build a national media that is premised on constructive coverage of issues and people. The Fresh Outlook has no political, religious or financial ties making it truly independent.

Your next steps.

1. Email david.greenstreet@freshties.com to give us your contact details so we have a central record.

2. Email Jess Ramthun on editorial@freshties.com (Fresh Outlook editorial lead/ coordinator). She will invite you to join the facebook writers group and provide any guidance you need on writing for the newspaper.

3. What you can write on… all topics within the following categories: News; Community; Features; Reviews and Events; Career and Study.

News includes everything from current affairs and international news to sport and entertainment. We are also producing news summaries - an unbiased look at the week’s bigger stories. Jess will able to provide you with details on this.

4. Submitting articles.
Submit your articles to editorial@freshties.com. Other than specifically agreed deadlines with editorial for particular pieces, submit articles when complete.
