The recent fall in house prices has meant that there has been huge drop in demand for new houses. Therefore, construction firms are trying to cut costs as the work dries up, meaning that many workers are losing their jobs. With Christmas approaching, many workers are left wondering whether or not they will have a job in the New Year.
