Job success for CfJ graduate Alex Fisk

Another of the Centre for Journalism's first crop of graduates has landed a great job in journalism. Alex  Fisk, who graduated in the summer from the BA course, is now motoring and finance editorial assistant at AOL's autoblog.

Lucy at the Society of Editors

Big congratulations to Lucy Ross-Millar who has become the latest CfJ graduate to get a job in journalism. Lucy beat a shortlist of top graduates to win the coveted position as Research Assistant at the Society of Editors. She started work last week. The Society has issued a press release about her appointment as has the National Council for the Training of Journalists. I'm sure everyone in the Centre will join me in wishing Lucy the very best of luck. She is an excellent ambassador for the Centre

ITV News Traineeship

Eagle eyed graduates will already have noticed that the ITV News Traineeship is advertised in Media Guardian today. It is on page 7 at the top of the page... in bold yellow and black (ITN studio colours...). I know you have already seen it. You all read Media Guardian before breakfast. Of course you do, becaue you know it makes sense. Good luck.
