3rd yr printable newspaper, 2nd newsday

I've made an A4 version of our Spring term print newsday 'paper, but it's too big to upload to the site (and looks awful compressed further). I'll bring it on Weds on a USB if anyone wants a copy.

Twitter Newspaper?

Many believe that the days of print journalism are over (or nearly), so Twitter has come up with an alternative online newspaper : http://paper.li.  By selecting a topic, all the articles from newspaper sites appear on the screen along with links to other pages. It could be  a waste of time, but I think it's an interesting alternative. Check it out!

Several of you asked for some ideas on article topics. Generally, we say, write on what interests you. However, here are some suggestions:

Before we all get warm and fuzzly inside: a notable trend is still, that 'western' papers are slowly decreasing (but not as much as expected) in volumes (and especially in advertising), but the overall is overturned by monumental increases in Asian, African and Latin American papers.
