The print news day for first and second year undergraduates, scheduled for this Thursday, has been postponed. It will take place in early February - you will be advised shortly of the new date.

I've made an A4 version of our Spring term print newsday 'paper, but it's too big to upload to the site (and looks awful compressed further). I'll bring it on Weds on a USB if anyone wants a copy.

The two teams for Friday's print news day are as follows. All of those others who volunteered as editors will get their chance in forthcoming news days.

The first assessed newsday for year 3 undergraduates takes place on Friday. The assessment criteria are explained more fully here.

The list of reporters - who will be assessed individually - will be published here on Thursday morning.

First and second year students please note: there will be a debriefing session at 11.30am today to go through the newspapers you produced yesterday. Please do everything you can to attend.

Second years: there are now several copies of the excellent Editorial Design by Yolanda Zappaterra in the Drill Hall Library.

For those of you who missed today's lecture, the assignment briefing for your next piece of assessed coursework is now on the site. Check the convergent journalism section of module notes. If there's anything you're not sure about, then do ask. The deadline is 12noon on Thursday 18 December.
