For those of you John, Lucy and I haven't yet talked to about it: our Amnesty International Society has organised an event for tomorrow, Thursday, at 6 pm in the Pilkington Lecture Theatre.
We have invited Catherine Billingham fro Amnesty International to give a short introductory talk about AI and she will also introduce the Stop Violence Against Women campaign which we are supporting.
You will also have a chance to learn more about our society at uni and there will be refreshments.
I know it's the evening before the essay deadline, but it shouldn't take longer than an hour, so come along and bring some friends to support us!
We're looking forward to seeing as many of you there as possible!!!
