Opportunity with the KM Group

A reporting opportunity has opened up for a reporter with the KM Group at the Gravesend Messenger.

It's a relatively new and very highly regarded paper in an increasingly interesting news patch. You could find yourself covering one of the UK's first new garden cities in a generation at Ebbsfleet, the opening of one of Europe's biggest theme parks as part of a huge regeneration project at Swanscombe and a wide range of colourful festivals and events in Kent's most multicultural community.

Anyone interested should send a CV and cover letter to editor Bob Bounds at bbounds@thekmgroup.co.uk

'Forget Buzzfeed... this is the biggest threat to our industry'

Trinity Mirror, one of the UK's biggest newspaper groups, is considering banning users who use ad blocking software from its websites, as concerns continue to grow about the future of advertising revenue online.

The Times today quotes one unnamed newspaper executive: "Forget the arrival of the like of Buzzfeed; this is potentially the biggest threat to our industry."
